Happy new year, friends! We are looking forward to coming together next Friday, January 14th at ESC Region 10 in Richardson. Our colleagues have planned a great agenda for our time together. Region 10 colleagues are looking forward to a day of problem-solving, learning, and networking, and they can’t wait to grow with LFNTX friends!

1:00-3:00 PM: Region 10 ESC team members will facilitate collaborative learning experiences around concepts in Priya Parker’s book The Art of Gathering. Ideas from this book have transformed 🤯 how they design professional learning sessions and meetings, and you’ll have opportunities to learn about and then apply these strategies to your own work.

We will meet in Engage A. When you walk into the main lobby, there will be a greeter to direct you to your room.

We will have light breakfast snacks. We also have coffee and hot tea.

Sometimes it can be very cold, so you may want to bring a light sweater or jacket.

If you want to wear your favorite Halloween shirt or jewelry, that is strongly encouraged.  🎃 🧡

Our October 2021 LFNTX meeting date has been rescheduled for Friday, October 22, 2021! We still plan to meet face-to-face at the Region 11 ESC building, we’ve just changed the date from October 29 to October 22. About a week prior we will post the day’s agenda and any other pertinent details so everyone is in the know and prepared to resume our face-to-face collaboration! Thank you!

We will open with announcements and some light housekeeping. Frisco ISD is hosting and they will share next about the Educator Mixtape project they are launching this school year. We will then move into breakout rooms to discuss and provide feedback on our current POPs (problems of practice). The feedback will help curate the list with the goal of product creation as a result of our collaboration this year!

Frisco ISD will host and our first meeting will provide the opportunity for your district to sign up to host this year as well!
