We hope to see you all in Richardson this Friday, May 12th as we celebrate another year and learn from our peers! The morning will be spent collaborating and networking during our Problems of Practice time (9:00am-11:30am) and the afternoon will include a Richardson ISD Mini Ports of Call Showcase (1:00pm-3:00pm). The meeting will be held at the Richardson Operations Center (1123 S Greenville Ave. Richardson, TX 75081). A light breakfast will be provided. April 14 Meeting at Region 10

We look forward to seeing everyone this Friday, April 14th as Region 10 hosts our LFNTX meeting! The morning will run from 9:00-11:30AM and the afternoon from 1:00-3:00PM. February 10th Meeting in Plano ISD

Plano ISD is looking forward to hosting LFNTx on February 10. We will start at 9:00 AM in the Plano ISD Sockwell Center located at 6301 Chapel Hill Blvd, Plano, TX 75093. A light breakfast will be provided.

At 1 PM, Plano ISD’s PL team will share about the district’s ongoing commitment to providing a tiered system of support for classroom leadership and management. At 2 PM, representatives from the Human Resources team will share about the district’s newly approved Pathways to Teacher Certification.

January 13th LFNTX Meeting in Keller ISD

We are looking forward to the first meeting of the new year on January 13th in Keller ISD! We will start at 9:00 AM in the Keller Administration Building (350 Keller Parkway). Our hosts ask us to park in the visitor parking lot and enter through the visitor entrance. The meeting will be in the Board Room, which is the rock building right when you enter the main entrance. Bagels will be provided.

Our afternoon session begins at 1:00 PM and will be a Professional Learning Standards implementation workshop. We will be working with Lisa Ham on learning more about the PL standards and setting action plans on implementing them in our district.

Friday, November 18th, LFNTX in Arlington!

Good day! We are excited to meet together on  Friday, November 18.  We are looking forward to this day to connect and learn together.

1:00-3:00 PM: Arlington ISD Professional Learning in collaboration with Lisa Hamm will take a deep dive in a Professional Learning rubric based on Adult Learning Theory.

As you enter the building, our secretary will greet you to direct you to our room. We will meet in room 804A/B.   We also have coffee and hot tea available all day.

October 21 Meeting in Waxahachie ISD

Our October meeting will be held in Waxahachie at the Curriculum and Instruction Building, 51 Northgate Dr. Waxahachie, TX 75165. Please enter at the main entrance.  From there, the receptionist will show you where we will be meeting. Our day will run from 9:00am-3:00pm, with lunch on your own from 11:30am-1:00pm. Coffee, drinks, and a light breakfast will be provided. If you have not already RSVP’d, please do so here.

We will spend the morning in our POP groups.

For the afternoon session, Waxahachie will share how they are adapting the traditional professional learning format to meet the needs of their teachers through job-embedded PL.  Through the use of programs to support both beginning teachers as well as teacher leaders to the design of a subscription box service for secondary teachers, the TLI team is working to support educators in new ways.
