We are excited to publish our 2019-2020 Meeting Schedule! Please mark your calendars now, and plan to join us as we connect, collaborate, learn, and lead together!

Meeting Times:

• 9:00-11:30am: Collaborative/Critical Friend Groups
  • We would love to have you join us as we work on projects, give/get feedback, and collaborate on topics that are set by the group in attendance.
• 1pm-3pm: LFNTX Meetings
  • Our regular meetings feature best practices in professional learning, facilitation, and feedback.

Ice Breakers. Team Builders. Grounding Exercises. Relational Capacity

Research shows that adult learning is relational. Together we will explore structures and activities that create connection and builds a pathway for participants and facilitators to learn together. Join us for a high-energy, hands-on afternoon, and leave with ideas you can use this summer as you lead professional learning.

Designing and delivering valuable professional learning for everyone else….In our afternoon together we will explore the challenges and rewards of supporting our paraprofessional and non-instructional support staff.  RISD will share current ways they are providing learning opportunities and invite other districts to share their needs and successes to meet the professional learning goals of ALL employees.

Lewisville ISD professional learning team will share how they have tackled the challenge to provide relevant and continuous learning for all in a large district through a variety of ways. Lewisville will spotlight their 3- year support plan for new teachers and multiple online learning avenues including video library, Canvas online courses, and Twitter chats and book studies. Walk away with ideas of structures and resources to support continuous learning for all in your district.

In the afternoon the PL Team from Keller ISD will be sharing a few tips and tricks on conference planning. We will spotlight Keller University, their annual learning conference, and share ways they have grown the conference over the last four years and ways they have made it unique to create a fun learning environment for our teachers. This will be an interactive afternoon of learning that will help you plan for meaningful and memorable learning in your district!
